Our new, limited-time-only Eat & Drink In WNY Advertising Special lets you promote your restaurant or bar on both Step Out Buffalo and our new Step Out Buffalo Facebook & Instagram pages exclusively about eating and drinking in Buffalo & WNY.
What does this mean? In addition to being featured on our main website, email, and social media pages, this promotion also includes posts on our highly targeted Eat & Drink Facebook and Instagram @stepoutbuffalo.eatanddrink pages.

How It Works
Our Shop Local packages includes constant visibility on the Step Out Buffalo website through a featured business listing that will appear in your relevant category. For restaurants and bars, your listing will appear in our Eat & Drink section of the website.
Then throughout the campaign we will publish bigger, more creative promotions throughout our different marketing channels such as the website, SOB email newsletter, our Facebook page and on our Instagram and TikTok.
Items are delivered over a 6 month period or the schedule can be customized to accommodate seasonal businesses or different campaign objectives. The goal is to put your brand in front of our readers in creative, engaging through multiple touch-points across the campaign.
Throughout your campaign we’ll publish one each of the following items from our Standard Shop Local Package + a special exclusive placement on our new Step Out Buffalo Eat & Drink social media pages.

1.) Giveaway Hosting:
A Step Out Buffalo Giveaway Hosting is a week-long promotion on our Instagram, homepage, and Facebook page. Readers will enter to win by following your Instagram page & tagging friends or by opting into your email newsletter.

2.) SOB Spotlight Article:
A Step Out Buffalo Spotlight Article is a 200-300 word post completed by one of our writers about your business or services. A total of two Spotlight posts are included in the package. The subject of your post can be about any product, service, or news you would like to promote and topics can range from new releases to grand openings to product and event roundups. This is a creative and engaging way to connect with our audience and create “organic buzz” around the Western New York area. Once approved, your post will be published on our homepage, in our email newsletter, and on Facebook where we will boost it for $25.

3.) SOB Deal Listing Promotion:
A Step Out Buffalo Deal Listing Promotion is a deal, discount, or special offer listing shared across Step Out Buffalo. Includes one week placement on our homepage, an inclusion in our email blast in our “More Fun Stuff” section, and an inclusion in our email blast in our “Deals of The Week” section of our email newsletter.

A Step Out Buffalo Facebook + Instagram Post is a 100-200 word dedicated post completed by one of our writers about your business. For this promotion you will receive an additional Dedicated Post shared on our Step Out Buffalo: Eat & Drink Facebook and Instagram pages.

What To Expect
This promotion and the Shop Local package within it are geared at promoting your business in a fun and creative way to our readers. While reach can vary across campaigns and industries generally the different items will receive a reach in the following ranges:
- Giveaway Hosting: 200-600 new followers and emails yielded
- SOB Spotlights: Will generally reach between 10,000-20,000 people on Facebook and are included in our email which is sent to 50,000+ subscribers
- Enhanced Listings: Will reach between 5,000 and 10,000 people on Facebook and are included in our email which is sent to 50,000+ subscribers
- Instagram Reel + Tik Tok: Your Instagram Reel and TikTok post will typically get between 10,000 and 20,000 views each
- Dedicated Facebook + Instagram Post: These posts will reach between 5,000 and 15,000+ people on both Instagram and Facebook
- Banner Ads: Are guaranteed based on the impressions included in your package
A full analytics report is provided at the end of the campaign including total reach, clicks, and cost per click. Campaign results are available at any time by emailing your SOB coordinator.
Fulfillment
Before your campaign begins, your SOB campaign coordinator will send you a publishing schedule outlining all of the items and when we plan on publishing them. They will then contact you roughly once a month to get items approved and collect information for any upcoming promotions. Typically a “Submission Form” will be sent where you can upload images and any talking points for our creative team to reference when creating your proofs.
